is a self-taught photographer born in Vietnam, raised in Ostrov, Czech Republic, and later based in Helsinki, FI. Her practice is rooted in the observation of everyday life, found compositions, and the people close to her, including friends, family, and communities formed through familiarity, conversation, and shared experience.

Working over long periods of time, she photographs the mundane as a space where questions of identity, belonging, culture, labour, and relationships can emerge. Her images move between what is found and what is partly staged, allowing her to explore memory, appearance, atmosphere, and the boundaries between observation and invention.

Having grown up primarily in the Nordic context, she has only more recently begun to examine her Vietnamese roots as an adult. This relationship is approached as an ongoing process of curiosity, distance, questioning, and eventual return.

Photography is at the centre of her practice, which also takes the form of exhibitions, research-based image work, installations, and publications. She is interested in the relationships between images and in creating space for slower, more attentive ways of looking. She is currently developing her debut solo exhibition, bringing together a body of work that has evolved organically over almost a decade.
